Greetings Earth Beans this is Supa Soul Brotha Del. coming at you Live and Funkdafied.Last time I told you about some of the ways in which the Evil-Anti-Funk-Azoids tried to ruin our shoot and put a halt to the filming. Those little buggers got inside the ears of passers by sending them into the camera shots and munched their way through guitar strings. They even coated my sunglasses in a super reflective metallic substance that confounded the camera operator and the director of photography for aeons. However all these attacks paled in comparison to their sustained assault on Talbert. First they got inside his ears and formed a almost totally sound proof barrier. This impeded Talbert’s ability to hear anything at all. Even when the rest of The Neutronics were talking to him we found it strange that he wasn’t answering the first time but kept saying huh, what, I can’t really hear you.
It wasn’t until he began playing that the problems this would pose throughout the day became apparent.
The almighty Talbert, Part Man, Part Drum Machine with a Metronome where his heart should be did the unthinkable. HE PLAYED OUT OF TIME. This was highly worrying to The Neutronics how could we carry on if Talbert was unable to keep time.
The Professor and The General immediately began working on a solution to remedy the situation. Talbert was reeling from this attack on his aural senses. The Evil-Anti-Funk-Azoids began rejoicing it seemed that their dastardly plans were finally working. They hoped beyond hope that this time they would be successful and The Neutronics would have to abandon the shoot. Our heroes were in a state of distress until The Professor finally had a breakthrough. With the assistance of the Supa Soul Fighter Anestis and the technological expertise of The General they were able to convert a simple telecommunications device into a suitable monitor for Talbert who would be able to then plug the song directly into his ears blasting through the barriers the Evil-Anti-Funk-Azoids had erected and allowing him to play in time. But even this was met with some resistance when The General couldn’t pull the right song into the telecommunications device.
Eventually the solution was implemented and immediately Talbert’s timing returned. Unfortunately while the Evil-Anti-Funk-Azoid barrier was been blasted to smithereens some of the Evil-Anti-Funk-Azoids were escaping from Talbert’s ear by pushing out the ear-pieces. Talbert never stopped playing and director Makalla aided him by replacing the ear-piece each time it fell out. Eventually all the necessary footage was captured and the Evil-Anti-Funk-Azoids were once again roundly defeated by The Neutronics, the Supa Soul Fighters and the crew.
